Let’s face it, we’ve all spent many a night dreaming about what we’d do if we were to win the EuroMillions and life a life of luxury. They say that money doesn’t buy you happiness, but we’ve had money and he haven’t had money, and we definitely felt happier when we had money. They say that you’ve got to be in it to win it, and so first off, if you don’t buy yourself a ticket, you definitely won’t stand any sort of chance of winning. But are there any other things you can do to boost your chances of scooping the jackpot at the next EuroMillions draw? Well, as it turns out, yes there are. Here are a few tips to help you increase your chances of winning the EuroMillions jackpot.
Go with higher numbers
A lot of people when choosing their numbers for this draw, will select birthdays for their numbers. So, the more numbers there are over 31 in each draw, the less chance you will have of sharing your jackpot with everybody else. If we’re talking about hundreds of millions of pounds, sharing your jackpot with 2 or 3 people won’t bother you in the slightest. If however, it’s a relatively low jackpot, though you’ll still make a heck of a lot of money, the more people that you share with, the less money you will win. It sounds greedy but there have been people that have won similar raffles before, and have quit their jobs, only to find that they actually hadn’t won all that much at all. When choosing numbers, make sure you work your way from 1 – 50.
Buy more tickets
This sounds like common sense but we’re saying it anyways. Another great way of increasing your chance of winning the jackpot is to simply buy more tickets. Remember, you need to speculate to accumulate. We’re not saying you should not eat for a month and that you should instead blow your incomings on EuroMillions tickets, but a few more tickets each month will increase your chances of winning.
Don’t play multiples
A lot of the time, people like to play multiples of numbers, so they’ll go with numbers like: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc. It’s incredibly rare that the random numbers drawn by the machine will fall into such precision lines so try to mix things up. Go with single digits, double digits, odds, and evens, and be sure to go with higher and lower numbers.
Don’t give up
We all know that each time we buy a EuroMillions ticket, we convince ourselves that tonight’s going to be the night when we finally scoop that elusive jackpot and can bathe in champagne whilst eating caviar on our luxury yacht. Normally a few hours later our hopes are crushed when we’re lucky to get just one number, and many of us write it off as a waste of money, and never play again. You have to be in it to win it. Just because you don’t win, don’t give up, as you never know what the next draw may hold.
